Speak to someone. Who was absolutely no help whatsoever! Over half of the leads that you pay to contact, never answer either a phone call or, email or txt message.
Total waste of time and money!! When over half of the leads that you PAY FOR, will not answer a phone call or, email or txt message.
I think most of the so called leads, must sit at night, after having a drink, nothing on TV .. and think, I know lets waste a tradesmans time and money, and send a job request that they never intend to have done . Im so annoyed!! The so called customer service!!
Wont help, and wont refund any of your wasted money!!
People should have to pay a fee, to request a job, which is refundable, if they go ahead with a tradesman. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER BARK AND WORK FOR THE TRADESMEN YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING!!!

Bark.com - A complete scam!
Initially we received a multitude of spam from bark.com. We eventually decided to sign up as a supplier and almost immediately received "leads." However, the bulk of these came through at VERY odd hours of the day - 02.30 hrs, 03.00 hrs etc - all from people allegedly based in The UK.
These so called leads also came for extremely odd names - Oxy, Spock, No name etc. I think you get the picture.. These so called leads are clearly fake and designed to encourage suppliers to respond to them using "credits" which have to be purchased in bulk. Yet another money making machine for the owner of the site and with no consideration for the customers (if genuine) and the suppliers.
Personally, I would advise anyone reading this to avoid the site. If you are a genuine potential customer, find a reputable company to take your job and if you are a supplier, do not pay these people a penny!

I has a call from a number after logging my job with you
They came and looked and gave a price.then talked me into other work in the front garden.to say the least very convincing.they did half a job and left my garden in a state.
I have a phone number which is not taking my calls.i handed cash over for stones for the front as they said they would need to pay upfront..
Unfortunately it's me that's paid upfront for a garden mess.

Dissatisfied as I post on team bark and got a call from an unknown person stating he would be over to see what was needed done..scammed.for 2.5k very persuasive guy..2nd day around 7 guys appears felt extremely vulnerable..I believe you should actually survey your suppliers and note who responds.
I have been left in an awful situation.
Complaint
Bark state they vet all people on the site. I posted a request for a plastic bracket fixing to an outside wall (requiring 2 screws).
I received a quote very quickly for £240.00. A local handiman (not on Bark) quoted £15.00.
Guess who I gave the job to.
Bark obviously DO NOT vet people on their system!!
Do not bother with them. Go local on your own!

No Vacuum!
Only a dirty mop, broom, rags, cleaning wipes, and 1 bucket. I would give them a 50% on completion. I offer my equipment clean cleaning rags, new mop and broom and commercial type mop bucket to ring mop, Small Oreck, vacuum, Kemore canister vacuum w/attachments.
Would have made their work so much easier. Finally realized and started using.
I preferred to use my equipment over what they brought.
One of cleaning rag got in my garbage disposal. Careless!

Report on the bad service from Bark
When I joined bark they promised me that if I didn't get any leads that they would allow me to use the credits again for another opportunity to get customers but when I asked them about that as all the leads were fake. They told me they cannot uphold their part of the deal. I am disappointed and am out of $80 dollars..

My husband is a professional entertainer on Bark. He's encountered several leads with fake emails and phones that lead to voice mailboxes.
Today, he spoke with the customer and was told the customer's post was in error. We've contacted Bark.com's customer service multiple times and they advise that if "you contact the customer, you forfeit your credits". He lost 18 credits because a customer posted in error. He's lost hundreds of other credits to customers who have false contact information.
Do not waste your time with Bark.com. Google your entertainers and contact them directly.

I had the same issue. (from my trust pilot review) I purchased a lead for a potential client from Bark.
Followed up with 2 emails and 2 SMS messages. I finally got a reply from a woman asking why I was contacting her and if she was on a list. I checked back, she had never contacted Bark, and she didn't require my photographic services, as she was a photographer. This is funny as Bark said she wants 20+ photographic headshots done in Cardiff by a certain date.
I explained to Bark, that this was fraud, it was not a mistake and I want my money back.
They offered additional leads!!! I'm trying to get my money back via small claims, but to all other users of Bark, if they're making only 10% of the leads up, that increases the costs of your leads and wastes your time following up on "magic" leads.

I kept receiving messages from the same name every two weeks but only took notice when I saw the same pictures that were used for another ad on Facebook who were using it as part of a cleaning company! Completely odd I thought so unsubscribed and reported as spam only to receive a dither email asking if I was still look for cleaning services??
The. Serval hours later my phone pings and it’s then again asking if I’m still looking for cleaners and to hit the link or reply with the word STOP!
I came across these when I was looking for recommendations for drive and footpath to be cleaned around my home. Bark.com just do one!

I started out buying the bulk pack of credits, excited to be in the loop as a new hypnotherapist. I did get a few clients out of thd process, but sadly many people just don't answer their phone, texts or emails after you've used credits to contact them.
If you are a proactive person who calls a lead immediately, you may get more business. I'm 50/50 on this one.
I couldn't agree more. I have gone ahead and filed a claim with the better business bureau and hopefully they will step in.

Yes all the leads are just made up. I was on Bark for months and had NO replies from any leads.
If the leads were genuine I would have had at least 1 response, but I did not get any response at all. Dont be fooled, this site is a complete scam and makes LOTS of money.
They keep sending fake leads even though I never signed up with them... Spammers, scammers, avoid!

I spent a considerable amount of money with bark.com. Most of my leads I believe were fake. I have asked multiple times to be removed from their mailing list and I continue to receive email from them.
I replied to lots of jobs, I mean a LOT and got not one single reply. This is impossible if these are genuine leads !!!
guys, I have purchased 2 packages and i phoned two leads, both either hung up or sent me straight to voicemail. I think these leads are fake
I know these are fake. I still have credits on Bark but have given up.
I have been on Bark for about 8 months. Replied to LOTS of jobs but not had one single reply. This is statistically impossible, unless the jobs on Bark are fake. There is NO other reason not to get at least one reply.
Before I replied to jobs, I made up another e mail and I placed a number of jobs on bark to see the responses I would get. I then started replying to jobs, knowing the response to give etc and how much to bid.
However this did not work, as I did not get one single response from LOTS of replies over months on Bark. This is without a doubt one of the biggest scams on the internet.
Stay away , they kept taking money from my bank account after I unsubscribed for 3 months onwards (I did not check my bad) . I had to contact my bank fraud department to stop any further payments.
