Removal of a negative but fair review

I used a kitchen-fitting company promoted on the bark website. My experience of that company was extremely poor, so I left a review which I felt was honest and fair but obviously negative.

My review has been removed( not by me),but favourable reviews are still there that were placed before mine.

I have asked Bark for a reason why, but have yet to receive a response.

Hi Chantelle. We are currently doing a deal on our credits packs.

You can buy any size pack and will then be offered a second pack of the same size at a discounted price. When you clicked to purchase the first pack of credits, a window will have popped up asking you if you wanted to buy a second pack at the discounted price. If you clicked "Buy Now" this will have processed both packs.

I did contact you with the same outcome as before. I have no jobs found through your webside you are taking the money for nothing and replay to a bad feedback to contact you to look good in here but you haven't done anything different after I did several times.

Not happy with their response

A service provider did a bad job, took my money and then blocked my number when I tried to get the issue resolved. Contacted Bark to find the supplier's address but they do not keep it on file. Only suggest that I contact the CAB, but with no details, its a dead end. When I phoned to complain the Adviser tells me that they are an 'open platform' (as if I know what that means!) then they hung up on me when I tried to get anywhere.

Fake leads

Myself and my wife both tried out bark several times. We have entirely different businesses, but all the leads we received were definitely fake.

Nonexistent phone numbers which do not work, and if they do work, nobody answers.

Never get any get a response from any of the supplied email addresses.

total waste of time and money.

They started offering a get-hired guarantee, which I decided to try out, but which was also a complete scam.

All they did was offer to give me my credits back once...

no guarantee of getting hired at all and they will only do this once. So if you still do not get hired from all the fake leads, tough luck.

Bark.com is messing with my private business

Im a professional on bark.com. I only use them to purchase leads.

Recently I had a private client (didnt find her on bark).

She doesnt want to pay and expect additional work done for free. She know Im on bark.com because its on my email and website.

Instead of she dealing with me privately she decided to go to bark to complain. Keep in mind I never found her on bark.com.

Instead of bark.com checking the records to see if I had any contact with her on their platform. They sent me a warning email about complaints from a client.

I am 100% sure is her because I have no issues with my clients.

My clients know they can address me with any issues.

I reach out to Bark few times but they choose not to address the situation.

I let them know that my private clients has nothing to do with them. Nothing!!

I did already and you’ll never responded or directly addressed the situation. Just copy pasted generic email from your company just like this one.

I spoke with one person on the phone and they said, I had no contact with that client via bark. He even said, “it’s weird” that your company didn’t check that before you sent complaints email. Check your phone records! All I ask is for a decent apology for the mistake your company made.

And to remove anything that’s not true from my account. I don’t want bark.com addressing any issues with my private client.

I’m a separate business. All I do is purchase leads from your company nothing else.

Hi there, This is not the case with using our platform. We sell packs of credits on a pay-as-you-go basis, and no funds are taken without the account holder actioning this by clicking "Buy Now".

In the instance of a first purchase, all payment card details must also be added by the account holder. Our company is based in the UK, and therefore some overseas banks will charge fees for overseas transactions, but these are not taken by our company. You would need to speak with your bank about these fees.

Crazy customer

This man Anthony Leary is a raving lunatic he lives in the most filthy house I have ever seen ,he cried and begged for me to fit his kitchen, like fools we did try ,this man is nuts the house is full of dead rats ,and how dare he try spoil my name , I'm quite prepared to go to his house and video this supposed bad work !!!! Overcharge due to an ongoing offer on the website. The money has been taken automatically cos the system "thought" I would want to take advantage of the offer. However, when i spoke to the Bark agent, she's been very helpful and and didn't try to negotiate with my refund request and processed it straight away. Not pissedoff at all
